COMPRESSOR CONTROL SYSTEMS
레그루스® R1000
The R1000 is an intuitive industrial control system designed to simplify compressor operation while supporting efficient performance.
With user-friendly controls and essential monitoring capabilities, the R1000 gives operators greater visibility and control over compressor performance and energy use.
Features & Benefits
Designed with operators in mind, the R1000 features a 9-inch full-color touchscreen with an intuitive, tablet-style interface that provides easy access to compressor controls, operating data, and system information.
Deliver the Air You Need With Less Waste
Unnecessary pressure and excess air production can increase operating costs. The R1000’s pressure and capacity control modes help match compressor output to system demand.
Pressure Band Optimization supports operation around the minimum pressure your system requires, helping your team manage energy use while maintaining the air supply production depends on.
Put Your Operators in Control
The R1000’s 9-inch color touchscreen brings compressor controls and operating information together in a familiar, tablet-style interface. Operators can review conditions and access settings in one place, making everyday monitoring and adjustments more straightforward.
For greater visibility beyond the control panel, the R1000 also offers optional FS-Connect remote monitoring. This technology provides access to compressor operating data and performance insights remotely, helping teams monitor equipment health, identify potential issues, and make informed maintenance decisions to maximize uptime and reliability.
Recognize Conditions That Need Attention
Visibility into compressor conditions helps your team respond when operation changes. Available temperature, vibration and filter monitoring provides information to support troubleshooting and maintenance decisions.
Alarm and trip notifications alert operators to conditions requiring attention, supporting a timely response and helping safeguard equipment.
Coordinate Compressors Around Plant Demand
For facilities operating multiple centrifugal compressors, optional Integrated Compressor Control (ICC) coordinates lead and lag compressor operation according to changing system demand, helping minimize unnecessary air production, reduce bypass, and support efficient compressed air management.
Optional Ambient Compensation Control (ACC) adjusts the compressor’s surge control line in response to changing ambient conditions, helping maintain stable operation and support efficient performance across varying operating conditions.
Simplified Control for Industrial Applications
Designed with operators in mind, the Regulus® R1000 combines intuitive operation with advanced control capabilities to support reliable, energy-efficient compressor performance.
Featuring a 9-inch color touchscreen, multiple operating modes, and Pressure Band Optimization (PBO), the R1000 simplifies everyday monitoring and control while helping reduce energy consumption and optimize compressor efficiency. Optional features provide additional flexibility to meet specific operational needs.

Understanding Your Compressor Control System Technology
Compressor control technology has come a long way, from mechanical switches and relays to smart, touchscreen interfaces that integrate with plant-wide automation platforms. FS-Elliott’s history in this space mirrors that shift. As control needs became more complex, each generation of FS-Elliott’s systems brought new capabilities to help operators better manage performance, energy use, and maintenance.

Controlling a Multiple Compressor Installation Using Integrated Compressor Control
Integrated Compressor Control (ICC) is a coordinated sequencing feature that allows multiple compressors to maintain a constant system pressure while ensuring maximum energy efficiency and minimal blow-off.
When using the ICC feature, compressors are connected through an integrated Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network. The P2P network, coupled with the ICC sequencing software included in each of the local control panels, allows users to select any of the networked compressors as the master controller, thus creating redundancy and reducing cost by eliminating the need for a separate master controller.

Modernizing Your Compressor Controls: A Practical Guide to Improving Reliability and Efficiency
As facilities continue modernizing their operations, compressor control systems have become one of the most effective areas to improve reliability, energy efficiency, and day-to-day visibility. What began decades ago as simple protection logic has evolved into a plant-wide intelligence platform that helps operators run cleaner, safer, and more efficiently.
This blog highlights how compressor controls have evolved, why modernization matters, and what today’s systems can offer, while our latest Beyond Compression podcast episode takes a deeper dive into the full discussion.
