Features & Benefits
A compressor’s value extends beyond its rated capacity. The S1 combines oil-free centrifugal compression with accessible components, performance controls, and configuration flexibility to help your team protect production, manage energy use, and plan maintenance with confidence.
Confidence for Critical Air Demands
The PAP Plus S1 can be engineered to meet detailed customer and project requirements, including applicable API and JIP 33 specifications.
Its oil-free air path helps protect processes from compressor oil contamination, while features such as an auxiliary oil pump and available monitoring help operators maintain visibility into compressor condition.
Optimized Design, Efficient Operation
PAP Plus compressors combine optimized aerodynamics, efficient intercooling, and custom-designed impellers to reduce power requirements and optimize airflow.
Mechanically superior bearings and adjustable inlet guide vanes further support efficient operation by reducing power consumption and responding to changing plant conditions and air demand.
Designed with Service Access in Mind
The horizontally split gear case provides technicians with convenient access to internal components for inspection and service, while the removable airend simplifies maintenance and replacement to help minimize downtime. Straight-through intercooler tubes allow for easier periodic cleaning, and the Regulus® control system helps operators monitor and optimize compressor performance.
Together, these maintenance-friendly features help reduce service time, improve equipment reliability, and support long-term performance throughout the compressor’s lifecycle.
Optimize Compressor Performance
Regulus control systems provide intuitive control and real-time visibility into compressor performance, helping operators monitor critical data and respond to changing plant conditions.
Advanced control capabilities simplify operation, support efficiency, and provide the information needed to maintain reliable compressor performance.
Long-Term Support You Can Count On
FS-Elliott supports customers throughout the life of their engineered centrifugal compressor with a standard two-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, backed by factory-trained channel partners and a global service network providing expert maintenance, technical assistance, and ongoing support.

Custom Aerodynamics for Centrifugal Compressors
A commonly overlooked factor behind compressor performance is the influence of on-site conditions and the impact they can have on compressor design, daily operation, and running costs. These factors can directly affect energy consumption, daily operations, and system efficiencies, which are critical metrics for facility operators.

API 614 and API 672 Air Compressor Standards Guide
Compressed air is often called the “4th utility” after electricity, water, and gas, making reliable air compression a critical part of any industrial process. The loss of compressed air can result in costly unplanned downtime, resulting in hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars in lost production per day. This is particularly true in many Oil, Gas, Chemical, and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) applications that rely on compressed air throughout the upstream and downstream processes.
