Adding Love Into Your Valentine’s Day With Oil-Free Air

Each year, February 14th is a date celebrated in many countries worldwide, and in the USA and parts of Europe, it’s known as Valentine’s Day. In other areas of the world, it’s known by names such as Día de los Enamorados (Latin America), Día dos Namorados (Brazil), Valentinsdag (Denmark & Norway), Araw ng mga Puso (Philippines), and Lovers’ Festival (China) with each country having their own traditions.

In 18th-century England, Valentine’s Day grew into an occasion where couples expressed their love for each other, and the ritual of presenting flowers, offering candy and chocolates, and greeting cards (known as “valentines”) was born. Since the 19th century, handwritten valentines have given way to mass-produced greeting cards.

Here in the USA, traditional greeting cards are mailed to friends, family, and loved ones to celebrate the holiday. Over 190 million greeting cards in envelopes will be exchanged during Valentine’s Day, costing around $1.3 billion.

Finally, the finished envelopes are counted, sorted, and shipped all over the world to ensure that our greeting cards and letters are mailed to our loved ones in time for the holiday!
